Imagine an autumn weekend where world-class jazz, outstanding hospitality and the spectacular coastline of England's beautiful English Riviera come together in one unforgettable curated festival experience.
From Friday 30 October to Sunday 1 November 2026, the inaugural Torbay Jazz Festival brings leading international and UK artists to three stages at the RIC, Riviera International Centre, just moments from Torquay's seafront.
The programme features the Courtney Pine Quartet, Soweto Kinch Trio, Clare Teal Five, Carla Cook and Deborah Brown with Stephen Keogh's Global Jazz Ensemble, a Smiling with Miles tribute featuring Rick Margitza and Voro Garcia, alongside outstanding regional talent and a dedicated 606 Club All Stars stage celebrating the legendary London venue's 50th Anniversary.

Getting There
Torbay sits on the South Devon coast — around two and a half hours by car from London, or a direct train to Torquay via Newton Abbot. Festival venues cluster around the RIC and Torquay seafront, all walkable from the town centre, with paid parking and a park-and-ride nearby.
Things to Do
Beyond the music, explore Torquay's harbour, Paignton's Geopark coastline and Brixham's working fishing port, with independent cafes, coastal walks and boat trips to fill the hours between sets.
